I Love Tokyu Hands!

Tokyu Hands is your one-stop shop for everything you need – and don’t need – for you and your home. It’s a large variety store, often times spanning multiple floors and filled with everything from kitchen ware and appliances, cosmetics, pillows, mattresses, and stationery to travel goods, such as luggage, messenger bags, traditional handbags, and more.

I love Tokyu Hands.

Here’s why.

Rilakkuma and Vegeta from Dragonball Z face masks.

Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) face masks!
(No spoilers on whose faces these are, in case you haven’t read or watched yet…)

Replace your boring trivet with something cute.

Things you didn’t realize you needed, like this Bag In Pocket, which can be put into any storage compartment, strapped to your car’s backseat for trunk access, or hung on a wall.

Lots of kitchen appliances, such as this simple blender.

Double drip coffee machine.
I was very tempted to get this.

A toast over a cup of coffee? Why, yes!

Copper gooseneck pitcher.

Various cups.

Disney cups, for all you Disney fans.

You can tell I was stuck in the kitchen section a while… Western-style dining tables, office desks, and couches, too.

No shortgage of cute decorations, including pillows.

These can be used to decorate your potted plants.
Several of the bonsai sakura plants had these sticking from the dirt.

Right outside of the Tokyu store in the Takishayama Shinjuku mall was a sweet older man selling lavender oil from a local farm.

Tokyu also sells a few plant kits, including this sakura bonsai kit.

With several locations throughout Japan, including Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, and Osaka, Tokyu Hands is worth a visit to stock up on house goods or for bringing back omiyage, or gift/souvenir, for your loved ones!
